TESTIMONIALS

IAll my XTR's (whether custom or off rack or 2nd hand) have been magic and I have gotten double the value out of them I would from a poly...it's a great tech and I have had way more luck than with EPS, both with feel and life-span of the board.

Andrew

I just wanted to let you know that I finally took my new 5'11 CHP out for a session, and it is seriously one of the quickest and most responsive boards that I have ever ridden. Thank you so much, the dimensions are perfect, and the extra bit of rocker in the nose saved me a ton yesterday while dropping into some really steep waves.
I also appreciated your responsiveness to my emails, and getting the board out to me so quickly. I look forward to ordering more boards from you this year. Thanks.

Jordan B.ar.C

"My current RNFQ with Marko (EPS) has had the fushion fins replace three times!!. I think they put the plugs in too hot and it destroyed the foam. That's why I'm coming back to XTR because when they are light (5.C) you can't beat the strength". Thanks.

Sean

"Superb design, state of the art technology.Very easy to catch waves and a rocket down the line. A perfect blend of retro-modern design. Arrived home w/o scratches". (Retro Quad Pulse)
You have a new friend in Puerto Rico and a long term customer!

Carlos

Javier ."Received the T-rex.it is super fast and responsive.the fin placement is right on with just the right amount of cantar. Love the stick.thanks again.
Timmo

Hey Javier, The board works great! It's exactly what I was hoping for. Turns really nicely but still floats me well. I am very pleased. Thanks for shaping me a great board. I have a buddy that saw my board and was impressed. I have a feeling he might be coming to see you soon.
Thanks,
Brian

" Recieved the surfboard last thursday in excellent conditions, great packing and superb future fins. Today I surf it in a northwest reef beak spot named surfer's beach. Mixed ground swell/windswell, knee to chest high waves and slightly windy common at this time of the year in Puerto Rico. My first impresion on the water is the perfect flotation for my weight, easy to paddle and easy to duck dive, your thickness adjustment was perfect. This designis very easy to catch waves, my wave count today was high. In my first wave I felt the perfect blend of a retro design with a touch of state of the art surfboard design and technology. The wide tail, single concave and quad combination projects excellent drive down the line and easy to make sections. Now I know how lively is the xtr construction but with the surfing feeling of a PU board.
After having this morning session I am proud of the investment in XTR technology and happy that this is a magic board. From now on you have a new longterm happy costume and a friend in Puerto Rico. Muchas gracias!

PD: Pleas e-mail me the exact final volume in liters of this board, to keep in file for future XTR boards!

"Javier, I just received the board. It is INSANE. Fantastic job!!!!! The outline, dims and finish are exactly what I was looking for with this board. Fast turnaround. I will definitely order direct in the future. Thanks again, take care, Mike."

"I have a secret weapon. The super light XTR Epoxy board, shaped by Matt Biolos"

- Bruce Irons (after winning in Japan)

"To me XTR Epoxy surfboards by Dick Brewer are not only lighter and stronger, they are faster and responsive. You can feel everything and turn where ever you want.

The waves I surf my Life depends on my boards, thanks for helping me survive!!"

"I had the 6ft 6in frequent flyer which I picked up yesterday out this morning and it was great. It catches waves as easily as the previous board (I don't understand how this is as it's smaller but its great) and it's much more maneuverable. The rails have some bite so I can put the board where I want it on the wave. So far things look good."

- Tom Bryan

"If anyone wants to know how stong is an epoxy xtr board is compared to the molded epoxy "popouts".let them know that I was surfing a few weeks ago and as I paddled back out a guy Bailed his board right in front of me and to save myself from getting hit in the head I put my board up it ended up impailing his board right through the bottom.my board only had a minor stess of the glass on the rail.most boards would have buckled and broke off.it even suprised Mr. Bailout!"

- Bob

"I just returned from Samoa and the new boards you made me went great. I really love the 7'2" it worked unreal at all the different reef setups. Thanks for the great work."

"Just wanted to tell you that I am super stoked on my new Pulse Calafia. I can't believe how light it is. I am already doing things on this board that I couldn't do before. I was also very impressed with the quality of customer service that you and your crew gave throughout the process. Andy was super informative and genuine. My experience with Epoxy Pro made me feel like you guys care to make your customer happy and informed. I will be a customer for life!!!!!
Thanks again!!"

"It took me a few session to get used to it, but it's the best board I've had in a long time. I've done things I couldn't do on other boards. It's super sensitive. I had 10 people try it and 9 of them love it. It has no dings after a lot of sessions of abuse. I need more XTR boards!".

- Maki (Channel Islands rep.)

"Very Lively. Light and there is no way I'm going back to a standard board. I have 12 boards now and a couple of them lasted over two years. I have custom shaped boards by Gary Linden. I like the XTR because it is super light and still strong. If you have a ding, you don't have to paddle in. They don't absorb water. I can go on surfing and worry about the ding later."

- Ted Vallas (surfer from Oceanside, CA)

"I have been surfing for 42 years. I have a quiver of 5 epoxy boards, 2-6', 6'5", 7', and 7'10" and 4 polyester boards. I have been riding epoxy XTR boards for about 7 years. I ride my 6' epoxy "frequent flyer" shaped by Javier most of the time in 3-9' surf. This design coupled with the content light weight is by far the most versatile and durable board I have ever used. Epoxy board with XTR don't absorb water and don't delaminate. XTR boards are truly the most environmentally friendly boards I have ever dealt with. Polyester boards usually delaminate. in less than 4 months and start getting water-logged. My 6' epoxy has been broken in half, repaired an has been ridden for 3 years, is not delaminated and still weighs 5 lb. Unbelievable!"
- Kelly Merrill
(surfer from Oceanside to Todos Santos)

"I have only been able to surf my new board 10 times, but I have to tell you, It's the best board I've ever owned. Catch waves like my longer board but is faster down the line and it is much looser. I have had some of my best sessions in years over the last month. You are the man, Javier!"

- Dan O'Halloran
(surfer / architect. Owns 7'2" Pulse)

"I am a 15 year old. I love surfing on Pulse XTR surfboards. I can't believe how a surfboard can be so light but at the same time, so incredibly strong. I live in Spring Lake, NJ and buy a Pulse surfboard from 3rd Avenue Surfshop. The owner, TR introduced me to them and every since, I have progressed greatly in my surfing."

- Paul Mackey (surfer)

"I can't say enough positive things about xtr. There light, strong, don't absorb water, don't yellow like regular boards, and have better memory and flex.On my personal boards I go with a heavier glass job so they are super strong and still a little lighter than a standard 4x4x4 poliester board.I'M SOLD!"

- Joe (surfer, manager Rip Curl Center)

"It seems like the XTR boards get more pop or spring out of turns due to a different tensile strength in the foam and fiberglass. A large percentage of our customers here at the Channel Islands Surfboards shop in Santa Barbara who have purchased XTR boards have said they have been their favorite boards they have ever had."

- Tony Miller,
manager at Channel Islands retail

"I just want to tell you how much I love my XTR epoxy boards, I ride my 6' every day, this board is almost one year old and still perform like if it was brand new. also my 6'6" rides insane on larger waves. I have been riding pulses XTR boards for 6 years and I will never switch. Keep up the great work!"

- Sincerely, Jaime the XTR addict

> SHAPERS

"XTR blanks are the the most accurate blanks after shaped by a CNC machine, the rocker is the closest to the original rocker on the master."

- Al Merrick

"In the last 6 months, I've built about 16 boards out of XTR foam. I have had Javier of Epoxy Pro/XTR glass all but a couple of them. I tried the epoxy system 10-12 years ago when the foam available was the SVF foam. It was way too stiff and had virtually no flex, similar to molded epoxy such as Surftech. Suffice it to say, they didn't work very well. XTR foam has a much better flex pattern to it. None of the boards made have broken down yet and the boards feel much more alive under foot than an board made from traditional polyester resins."

- Stu K.
(shaper from southern CA for 30 years)

"Dino Andino, last summer a the age of 33 used an XTR blank epoxy to win the east coast championships WQS in Virginia Beach against a lot of guys half his age. Chris Ward won the Oceanside PSTA on one last year. Two weeks ago Cory Lopez rode one to 5th place in Japan's WCT, while Andy Irons rode one in the first 2 rounds of dreadful Japan surf in route to his 3rd victory of the year".

- Matt Biolos, in a Bulletin Board comment
from Surfer magazine

"Just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how much I love the latest 6’ 4” parabolic quad you just shaped for me. The four boards you have shaped for me now are the best four I’ve ever owned, each has taken my surfing to new levels and in the process actually improved my life. That said, after picking up this latest from you on Friday I’ve been out on it twice a day and the performance just blows my mind. I couldn’t possibly be happier. Totally stoked!

I have no idea right now what I’m going to want from you next, but will be taking the quad and the 7’ 0” you shaped for me to J-Bay this August. We’ll see what comes next once I see where this latest board takes my skills.

You are a gifted master, and I can’t possibly thank you enough. Just wanted to express my sincere gratitude. All the best.

"Hey Javier--------I just wanted to say thanks again for the killer BOARD-------the ¥board FUKIN rips------------people are tripping out everyday about the board-------I will be intouch again soon, I have an idea for a new board----thanks again ALOHA from HAWAII."
- Carson/ Hawaii

"I just wanted to let you know that the board is awesome. It paddles into waves and rides really well. I actually tripped on the rocks getting ready to paddle out for the 1st
time. It bounced off the rocks with no dings what so ever."

- Thanks, Robert

"My LOST Speed Demon arrived 2day, just want to say a huge thanks for an outstanding board amp an amazing packaging job. I'm looking forward to getting some more boards from u in the future. Cheers!! Oh thanks for the set of fins =)"

- Troy

"Today was a great day. I surfed 3-5 ft fast wedgy peaks at Oceanside harbor without wetsuit. The 6-2 XTR was your best board I have ridden yet by far, it was very fast and steady and turned hard on the rail but was loose, and easy to paddle.
thanks Javier
."
- from (Henry Morales, Wave Hunter's manager)

"I love that new CHP you shaped for me! rode it in the masters division of the Encinitas Surf Festival constest Saturday and got second in my first heat to advance to the finals. didn't catch much in the finals and got an interference to boot, but the board worked great.
5.0X at 6 lbs in the perfect weight and foiling the rails more makes it super responsive. I used the Vector 450s since there were some bombing sets and I wanted more drive.
The double concave really works on that board as well. It's really loose rail to rail and super fast as well.
